Meet the Owner
Stephenie Lintl-McLean
Founder
Stephenie Lintl-Mclean has spent 25 years in the event trenches—and she knows exactly how overwhelming it feels when your event portfolio seems to be running you instead of the other way around.
After managing event portfolios across Europe as Senior Manager of Event Strategy at Fidelity International, Stephenie lived through the reality that most event professionals face: drowning in spreadsheets, juggling conflicting stakeholder demands, and making gut-feel decisions about how to manage the 200+ events she was responsible for each year. She discovered that the real problem wasn’t working harder, it was that nobody teaches you how to think about events as a connected portfolio rather than an endless list of one-off projects.
That’s why she started Beyond Branding Events. Whether you’re a growing company trying to build your first event structure or an established organization watching your portfolio lose momentum, Stephenie helps you cut through the noise. Her approach is practical, not theoretical, using transparent frameworks that turn “we have too much data” into “now we know exactly what to do next.” She’s focused on collaborative problem-solving and creating measurement systems that actually make sense to your team.
Beyond client work, Stephenie is committed to changing how the event industry approaches professional development. While the industry has made strides in training over the past years, it remains heavily focused on logistics and individual event execution, leaving a significant gap when it comes to holistic event strategy and portfolio management. She’s dedicated to filling that gap by sharing the strategic knowledge she’s spent her career building. She’s also a board member of Women in Events DACH e.V. and actively mentors young professional women in the industry to be recognized as the leaders they already are.
